Company not replying to my email

Our reader Jimmy wrote to us to complain about the service of a life insurance company in Malaysia.  The extract of his email is as follows:

"Who is my agent, never seen him for the last 20 years.
I have even forgotten his name. Please let me have his name and latest contact details."

His email was sent to the company on 19 December 2012 and he did not receive any reply from the company as of 30 December 2012.

All licensed insurance companies in Malaysia are required by BNM to set up a complaint unit.
