STMB's AA (SQR) Rating Withdrawn
Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad (STMB) has its AA Shariah Quality Rating (SQR) withdrawn by the Islamic International Rating Agency (IIRA). The AA (SQR) rating was assigned in May 2007 but not renewed by IIRA.The non-renewal apparently is due to the resignation of 2 senior management persons from the Shariah compliance department.
STMB has informed IIRA that they are finalising the recruitment of 1 Shariah person.
