New Council for ASM
Actuarial Society of Malaysia (ASM) held its AGM yesterday (12 Feb 2009). Following the change in the Constitution, the Exco is now renamed Council, and the term of the Council is 2 years (2009-10) instead of one.The following members (pic) were elected to the Council:
President: Patrick Cheah
Vice President: Liew Pek Hin
Secretary: Nor Aida Daud
Treasurer: Azim Mithani
Council Members: Yap Chee Keong, Tan Kay How, Yoon Yew Khuen, Loh Sheng Chieh
Auditor: Sophia Ch'ng
Immediate Past President: Raymond Lai
ASM also announced that it would host EAAC in year 2011.
