HSBC enters China
HSBC has received regulatory approval to launch an insurance joint venture in China.
The joint venture structure:
- HSBC: 50%
- Beijing-based National Trust Ltd: 50%
The joint venture is named HSBC Life Insurance Co Ltd and will commence business in Q3 2009.
