Reinsurance in Labuan Grew Strongly

According to Lofsa Annual Report 2007, reinsurance business grew by 40.3% in 2007 to reach US$919.2 mil.

62% of the premiums were from outside Malaysia.

The retakaful contributions also grew 42.8% to reach US$108.4 mil.
